The HTX lab now offers CrystalDirect plate as standard crystallization plate to enable automated crystal harvesting and in-situ characterization to all users !

CrystalDirect plate as new standard crystallization plate at the HTX lab !


Dear HTX users,

From the 13th of April, CrystalDirect crystallization plate will be used at the HTX platform as standard crystallization plate, replacing the current CrystalQuick plate from Greiner.
Setting up crystallization experiments on CrystalDirect plate will enable users of the HTX platform to benefit from automated harvesting with cryo-cooling and in-situ characterization of your crystals remotely through the CRIMS interface.

CrystalDirect features:

• 96-well standard SBS format
• Up to 3 samples per well
• 45ul of crystallization solution per reservoir
• Minimal UV background
• Minimal X-ray background
• Compatible with automated harvested and cryo-cooling
• Compatible with in-situ experiments
